re:EMF waves: I've long suspected that navy radar has been causing the whale beachings. I also suspect some sort of electro magnetic waves causing the bee collapse.

where the term "Violet Crown" came from: sMiles mentioned Austin used to be referred to as the "Violet Crown City". It comes from the days before the rich bought and occupied the western hills; nobody lived there but 'cedar choppers'. The pollen coming off the "cedar" (Western Juniper) trees in the western sunset took on a violet hue.

Howdy Harry,

Aaaahhh yes, my Tim Binnall interview circa 2008 - PsiOp Radio started February of 2007 and was initially on live Tuesday nights.

Here is the BoA page for that interview:

5.11.8
SMiles Lewis
(2 Hours, 5 Minutes)
http://www.binnallofamerica.com/BoAclas ... .11.8.html

Here it is as a 12 part youtube video (with unchanging image)

SMiles Lewis: All Things Esoteric 1/12

I really like that interview and I've had a lot of positive comments from others about it.

I too think there is probably EMF at play in marine mammal beachings and the bee die off.

Ah yes, the UFO Paranormal radio network ...

Thanks for the insight into the origins of the VIOLET CROWN meme ... got a citation for that? I'd heard something similar but without the west hillcountry loggers specific.

I don't have a citation, but Im sure many references are in the Austin Public Library collection on Austin history. I lived it. Remember Violet Crown shopping center on N Lamar? from there, you could actually look to the west at sunset and see the violet crown. there was no MoPac, no 360, no high voltage towers. burnet rd. was pretty much the western edge of town. My father took us fishing on lake travis to "Blackies Marina", there was very little civilization west of burnet rd. @ 1955. "cedar choppers" were left-over okies and appalachians who did cedar chopping since the CCC days.

In fact, during prohibition, there was a lot of moonshining up there, and, until the mid-50's, reports of panther sightings. Im talking about the territory before and after the highland lakes were formed.
